The Second Kilkenny Collection comprises 52 hour long recordings on CDs, together with an illustrated catalogue which provides a brief synopsis of each recording. The recordings were compiled in 2008.

This collection would not have been possible without the initiative and funding of The Heritage Council and Kilkenny County Council.
