This Great Houses of Cork and Kerry, first series, is the first in a series of oral history collections, and offers a rare glimpse of life in the Big Houses in Cork and Kerry. For the first time the families still living in and descendants of families that once lived in these houses speak about the ups and downs of life in Ireland from as far back as the 1600s. The participants within this collection were interviewed in 2012.
