Knock village is situated on the Shannon estuary. A busy port in its hey-day, many interesting people lived in the village, including Kate Flynn – “The Darling Girl from Clare”. This village was the birthplace of the Colleen Bán. The local villagers spoke about their memories of this beautiful village.
