In this two part recording, historian Michael Dunne travelled with me to all the local places where historical events took place. The tour took in Clonaslee town, as well as the Dunne Castle and the local church, with a running commentary on all the families who lived in the area over the last centuries.

In the second part of the recording, Michael talks about the craft of stonework, the Black and Tans during the Troubles; and visiting areas along Slieve Bloom, talking about the people who lived locally. We finished up at the Dunne home, nestled in the Slieve Bloom hills.
