Track 1 : Summary of the defining moments of his professional career to date, particularly from 1968 when discussions began on the Veterinary College merger, which came about in 1977. Track 2: His involvement in the extensive field investigation of infertility in dairy cows. Adjustments to his teaching role in the Faculty of Health Sciences and constraints on his research work. Continued to contribute to veterinary medicine through the Irish Veterinary Journal (Editor 1981–2006), and the Association of Veterinary Teachers and Research Workers. Track 3: Memories of his committee days, serving in many areas including Staffing, the Creche, and the management and planning for the renovation of Trinity Hall. Memories of professional colleagues, including his Head of Department, Professor Bob Lee (who was himself recorded by Irish Life and Lore and who, with his wife, Joyce, recalls those days in a short excerpt on this recording). Track 4: His participation in the International Conference on Diseases of Cattle, held in Dublin in 1986. Track 5: Elected Fellow in 1982, followed by Head of Department in 1989, Member of the Board in 1989, Chairman of Fellows in 1983.
