Born in what is now the Lake Hotel in Killarney, Philip (aged 91) went on to work in the Hilliard family businesses in Kerry, both in Tralee and Killarney. Phil speaks about being one of the early members of the board of the University of Limerick. He was a benefactor of St Finan’s Hospital, Killarney (closed since 2012) and speaks about the history of mental health in Killarney.
