Track 1: Growing up in Co Mayo in the 1930s and 40s. After leaving secondary school in Dominican Convent, Sion Hill, she joined the Dominican Sisters. After profession she was appointed to Cape Town where she studied to become a teacher. Track 2: Challenges she faced as Principal of St Columcille’s Secondary School in the Eastern Cape, changing times through the decades, marches and riots and the uprising in 1976. Track 3: Her return in 1989 for a short visit to Ireland, before her appointment to Argentina. She discusses her own social and personal work in deprived suburban areas. Her return home in 2004 to dedicate time to family needs.
