Edith Roberts Myers is a native of Bunclody, Co Wexford and Benny Myers is a lifelong resident of Tallaght who traces his family’s origins to Co Limerick on his father’s side and to Co Wexford on his mother’s side. He lived in England at a young age for a short time. On his return he worked as a gardener at Lord Fitzwilliam’s estate in south Co. Dublin which is now a golf course. He also delivered milk to Terenure village and then became caretaker at St Maelruan’s Church, and took care of the war graves. He retired at 65.
