Track 1: Growing up in Dublin in the late 1940s and 1950s. Joined the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. His time as a seminarian, ordination in 1972, teaching in Los Angeles, parish work in England before becoming Provincial. Going on a tour to Kenya, Liberia, Ivory Coast and Mozambique, with a view to starting a mission of the Congregation in one of those places. Track 2: Appointment to Mozambique in 1993 after deciding on a mission for that country. Assignment to Inhaminga in Sofala. He gives a background to the political situation there at that time. Track 3: Working under extremely primitive conditions and the various challenges he had to overcome. Track 4: The drought period there and the obstacles faced in sourcing water. He also discusses handing over the mission after 10 years to other missionaries. His return to Ireland in 2005. He is, at present, working with the Irish Missionary Union.
