A Sense of Place is the title of a lecture delivered by writer and poet Gabriel Fitzmaurice at Killarney Library during Heritage Week 2003. He recited from a selection of his poetry, describing his work as a living narrative of his native place. He made reference to Moyvane man, Eddie Cunningham, and in this recording is inserted Mr. Cunningham’s own recitation of the words of the song The Rose of Newtownsandes
