Nina Hall grew up on Northumberland Road and went to school in St Stephen’s, which today houses the Old Schoolhouse restaurant and pub, in Upper Mount Street. Her father worked as a chauffeur for the Earl of Pembroke, whose secretary at that time was a Mr Vernon. Nina recalls many anecdotes about her father’s life as he served the Pembrokes. Nina spent all her working days with Mobil Oil on the North Wall.
