Oliver McGlinchey comes from a Northern Irish background. His father came to Tullamore in the early twenties, and opened a bakery there. He had a number of bakery vans which covered a wide area in the Midlands, with Oliver’s mother as the boss! Oliver took over his father’s business and he recalled townspeople, and the characters who lived and worked in the town of Tullamore.
