Track 1: Peter Gorry discusses local fieldnames and on a visit to his museum he describes many of the artefacts which were part of the vernacular house in the past, and also some prehistoric items. Track 2: He explains the location of many local springs, explains more fieldnames and discusses the sport of hunting, snaring, poaching and the lamping of rabbits. Track 3: The changes that have taken place in Peter’s locality over the last fifty years in furnishings and the size of families are discussed. His responsibility in looking after the graveyard and the local cillín (burial place of unbaptised children).
