Sean Spellissy and I went to Scattery Island, situated on the mouth of the Shannon. The island is a wonderful, magical place, visited by pilgrims over the centuries. We saw many monastic buildings which distill a great sense of history. In order to find out some of the secrets connected to Scattery, we toured the island.
