Track 1: Growing up in Stonyford, Co. Kilkenny, in the 1920s and 30s. She joined the St John of God Sisters in 1946 and was professed in 1951. Her time training as a nurse, and she discusses how she was one of the first in a new course for tutors in UCD. Track 2: Appointment to Nigeria in 1966. Assignment to a mission hospital in Adazi, taking over from the Holy Rosary Sisters. The hospital work, and travelling to reach bush clinics in out-stations. Track 3: The outbreak of the war in 1967, and moving to the east of Nigeria to work with the Igbo people. Track 4: Re-assignment to work with refugees in Biafra, while with Caritas in Sao Tome and Umuchu, in Nigeria. Track 5: Returning home to Wexford. Working in administration for 10 years. From 1982 working in Newry Hospital until 1991. Track 6: Stories about her mission life.
