Susan Perry was born in East Africa, where her parents were stationed. Track 2: Susan Perry recalls being a colonial child. Track 3: Stories about animosity towards her mother’s people, the Cleeve family of Co. Tipperary. Her family connections with Birdhill House and farm, and her parents’ relocation to Marlfield. Track 4: A story about her grand-uncle, who ran away to fight in the Boer War. Her great-grandparents’ house, Woodrooffe House, in Co. Tipperary. Track 5: Her memories of moving to the various places in which she lived, and her feelings on being the last of the Irish Perry line.
