Track 7: His appointment as one of the youngest College Fellows in 1976, and its implications. Devising a new curriculum for the English Department. Track 8: His experiences as a Northern Ireland Protestant in Trinity during the 1970s. Appointment in 1982 as Associate Professor. Track 9: Retirement in 2009 and a summary of his academic career.
