An 87-year old farmer from Innisheer, one of the Aran Islands in County Galway. Thomas Conneely’s love for the island can be seen through his work of stonewall making and land creation. We toured the island and spoke about the geology of the island, fishing traditions, the holy well, women’s involvement through craft work, knitting, spinning and cooking.
