Annie Murphy’s involvement in youth and community work in the town of Wexford down through the years has been very successful. In this recording, Annie talks about her own upbringing, her father’s work as a cattle drover for the farmers. With a large family to rear and very little money coming in, her mother had to work hard to provide sustenance for her children. Annie recalls the joy and excitement she experienced from singing in Light Operas over the years.
