Track 2: Lord Lansdowne’s response to the Land Acts, the Land Wars and the Land Commission is discussed. Track 3: A collection of old family photograph albums is examined and discussed. Track 4: Lady Lansdowne, nee Hope, grandmother to David Bigham is recalled. Track 5: David Bigham discusses his parents, their English home and his own holidays in Derreen as a child. Track 6: Sporting life at Derreen in the past and in present times, is discussed. Track 7: Photographs of Derreen, showing the landscape, the gardens, furniture and secret passages are all discussed, as is smuggling in the area in the past. Track 8: The annual school feast which was organised by the Lansdownes in former times for the local schoolchildren is recalled. Track 9: The guests at Derreen over the years are recalled. Track 10: David Bigham discusses an old photograph showing well known gardener at Derreen, Danny Shea, posing with David’s grandfather.
