His own career in the County Council and time spent in the Assembly Rooms at the old picture shows. Track 3: His introduction to the performing arts, and his most memorable performances in the slag shows in the early sixties. Track 4: Snippets of some of the performances from that time, with comment. Track 5: A discussion on the outstanding success and long careers of the performers in those stage shows. Track 6: A discussion on more serious drama, staged in the CCYMS Hall. Track 7: A discussion on the School of Music, and on James N. Healy’s great talent. Track 8: Donal’s memorabilia from those days is described.
