Track 1: Growing up in the 1940s and 50s in Ballinrobe, Co Mayo. His education and joining the Spiritans in 1958. Track 2: His first appointment to Kenya in 1966. Assignment to the Archdiocese of Nairobi. His work with the tribal people for 18 years in Kikuyu. Track 3: In 1984 his near-death experience. Promotion work in Ireland from 1985 for three years followed by six years of Vocations work. Track 4: His second appointment, to Mukuru, working in a slum area for 12 years on the outskirts of Nairobi. Learning the language and getting to know the people. Working on formation before returning to Ireland in 2008.
