Born in Poland, Isabella Razniak describes the hardships her country has endured since the German occupation in the Second World War, and the apparent decline of the Catholic Church in Poland. She discusses her reasons for wanting to come to live in Ireland. Her first job was as a cleaner in budget accommodation in Temple Bar. Then she became a home help assistant, and later got a job in the County Library in Tallaght where she still works.
