Mary Regan was born Mary Taylor on 2nd January 1920, in Rathcahill, the only child of Bridget Gorman and Lawrence Taylor. She married Paddy Regan, Lacka Carrig, and gave birth to 9 children, one of whom died in infancy. Her interests included local history, travelling around Ireland and Irish music. She died on 1st March 2005 aged 85 years. Mrs. Lennard is also recorded in this interview.
