Track 1: Growing up in Tralee in the 1930s and 1940s and his education. Entering St Patrick’s Training College. His first appointment as a teacher to Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny. Track 2: In 1961, his appointment to Clonalour. Management of football and hurling school teams. Track 3: Travelling by train to Dublin on school sports outings in the 1960s. Track 4: The structure and discipline in schools in those days. Track 5: Teaching at St Joseph’s Monastery in the 1970s, and his appointment as Principal at Holy Family School, which was built on the site of the Monastery.
