The late Michael Scanlon (passed away in 2001), of Ballymacdonnell, Co Kerry, who was born in 1899 recounted his experiences of living in three centuries. Michael’s memories encompass a very broad range of experiences, including early 20th century football teams, rent collection and travelling tradesmen like the thatcher, the poet, the tinsmith, the beggarman and the tailor.
