Track 1: Memories of moving from Tullamore to Durrow at the age of six, and of his father, Michael, who was the last family member to sit on the board of the Williams’ group. Recalled Jack, his grandfather, and his responsibilities in the group. An early memory of hitching a ride to the railway station on a dray car, while on its way from the grain stores. Track 2: Recalled the emergence of the D. Williams’ 5 Star supermarket chain, and the amazing layout and selection of produce; memories of Mr Hoctor, the manager of the Tullamore branch, where he received privileged treatment! Recalled that the name Tullamore Dew, and his connection to the name, were significant to him in his travels around the world. His involvement in the publishing business and anecdotes of his exploits in this field of endeavour. His current work with the Trinity Foundation.
