Track 1: Growing up in Thurles, Co Tipperary in the 1930s and 40s. Her education and joining the Order. Her first appointment was to the Isle of Wight in 1948, where she taught for 10 years. Track 2: Her first missionary appointment was to Rhodesia in 1961. She describes the mission school in Marondera, Mashonoland. She gives an account of the tense and turbulent times from 1974 to 1980. A discussion of the different denominations. Track 3: The challenges and changes over the years. The celebratory mood during Independence. In 1996 she moved to the north-east of Zimbabwe, in a new teaching capacity. She discusses extreme poverty, and setting up tailoring classes. Her return to Ireland in 2006.
