Mairéad Furlong speaks about her own background, and the happy circumstances which led her to marry Nicholas Furlong and settle in Wexford. She recalls her involvement in the farm, which was later sold, and in their antiques business. She became involved in the Festival Council in 1968 and she describes those early days. Joan Lambert details the Arts Exhibition in the fringe events, and explains that she took over the running of this in 1976 following the death of her brother-in-law Billy Kelly. She details the many great Irish artists who visited Wexford with their work. Nicholas recalls the background to his involvement in the Festival, he simply lit up the town!
