Tralee native, Dr. Eunice McCarthy is a former UCD lecturer, and this recording was compiled by Irish Life and Lore during Heritage Week 2003 at Kerry Co. Library, Tralee. The title of Dr McCarthy’s lecture was Women in Mythical History and it relates to the Celtic mythology and the other world, sovereignty goddesses and war goddesses. Dr. McCarthy was introduced by the late Chris Nolan.
