Track 1: Growing up in Kanturk in the 1930s and 40s, education, formation with the St Patrick’s Missionary Society, to his ordination in 1959. Track 2: Teaching in Cork City for two years. First appointment to Kitui in Kenya; language difficulties. Teaching in the seminary in Mwingi. Track 3: Education there pre-Independence. He missioned in Mutito for 10 years. Opening a new mission in the bush. Track 4: Appointed to Kyuso, a new mission in Mutomo. The challenges of post-Vatican II Church. Track 5: Appointed to the south of Rwanda, to Jikongoro, in 1996, following the genocide. Returning in 2002 to Kitui for six years.
