While walking through the woodlands in the grounds of Mount St Joseph Abbey, Roscrea Fr. Nivard Kinsella spoke about the arrival of the Cistercians in Ireland and about his own pilgrimage to the Middle East. He continued with stories from the Old Testament, talking about the first historical figure, Abraham, who lived in 1850 BC, the Noah’s Ark story, and his own interpretation of the supernatural. Finally, the church, or house, was discussed, as it was used in tradition.
