Nicholas Furlong outlines his position as a Press Officer for the Opera Festival. Mairéad Furlong recalls a news article written in 1958 by Dr Tom Walsh about the Opera Festival, and Nicholas continues by recalling the people who came to the Festival, about whom he gave some great anecdotal accounts. Finally, Joan Lambert recalls her arrival in Wexford in the 1960s, and her first impressions of Wexford as a town of music. Nicholas Furlong spent 35 years providing historical tours during the days of the Festival.
