Track 1: Growing up in the 1920s and 30s in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim. Joining the St. Louis Sisters. Her formation and final vows in 1949. Pioneering the Medical Apostolate Group for the Community with other sisters. Track 2: Appointment to Nigeria. Assigned to Owa in 1952, where she had been invited by the SMA Fathers. Looked after outpatients for two years, with two other sisters. Track 3: Her second mission to Ghana in 1954 after a short break in Ireland. She describes how Archbishop Porter, who was in charge of health services on a diocesan level, invited St. Louis Sisters to undertake medical work in the western region. She details her work there. While working in outreach clinics, she found the major challenges to be a lack of food, transport and water.
