Track 1: Growing up in Borrisoleigh, Co. Laois, in the 1950s and 60s. His education and joining the Redemptorists. His seminary years and spending two years in the Philippines before his ordination in 1979. Track 2: His first long-term appointment to the Philippines in the 1980s. Assignment to Bacolod City. Learning the culture and the language. The difficulties there at that time in relation to justice and peace, in which he got deeply involved. Track 3: The opposition from the Government and from within the Church, are discussed. Track 4: Dealing with difficult questions which arose. Track 5: Moving to Cebu City, where he was working with seminarians. His final assignment was to near Negros, where he spent six years serving the local communities, before he returned.
