Track 1: Growing up in Carraigmore, Co Tyrone, in the 1930s and 1940s. His education, joining the Kiltegan Fathers in 1949. Track 2: First appointment to Nigeria in 1957. Assignment to Urua Injang. He discusses working on the staff of a teachers’ training college, the opening of schools and being transferred to other colleges. Track 3: Competition between missionary orders in the Calabar Diocese. Moving to Nakaru in Kenya in 1965. A new mission, building schools and churches in many locations over the years and returning in 1990.
