Track 1: Growing up in Millstreet, Co Cork in the 1940s and 50s, entering religious life and life as a seminarian. Track 2: His appointment to Ilorin in 1966, learning the local language and the challenges and obstacles he met with during his first two years of missionary work. Track 3: He was appointed parish priest at Borgu in the north, and had to learn a new language there. He describes his interaction with the bush people and with the other missionary congregations there. He discusses the conflict between Islam and Christianity in the cities there. Track 4: Discusses the role of the SMA order in Africa now.
