This conversation was recorded in the nursing home in Tullamore, where Kathleen Fox was keen to talk about her days growing up, and living in a thatched farmhouse cottage before the advent of running water, electricity and radio. Her memories stretched back as far as steam threshing with horses, and to the local women-folk making clothes out of flour bags from Goodbody’s factory in Clara. All of these memories made for a fascinating interview.
