Traced her family history back to her great-grandfather, Patrick Evans, who migrated with his family in 1928 from Keel, County Kerry, to Edenderry, accompanied by his brother, Bob and family (Bob Evans is recorded in the Irish Life and Lore Offaly Collection, 2nd series). This was part of the Land Commission initiative to re-distribute land elsewhere to farmers. Discussed subsequent generations of the Evans family line, including the Cronins of Castlemaine, Co. Kerry.
