Track 1: Growing up in Dublin in the 1950s and 60s. She taught in Dublin before joining the Viatores Christi and trained with them for eight months. Assigned to Thailand. Track 2: In 1972 she was teaching English in a convent school and also doing social/pastoral/development work. Her return to Ireland in 1981. In 1981 she married Colm Roddy who had also been a Viatores trainee. Her second mission to Ethiopia with her husband in 1983. He did irrigation work with the Spiritans, while she undertook women’s development and social work. They returned to Ireland in 1987. Spent another two yeas in Ethiopia with JRS in 1994/1995. She is now working with the Viatores Christi.
