Track 1: Seán O’Grady recalls one particularly heated Council meeting, during which a decision was made regarding a tenancy at the McShain estate in Killarney. Track 2: The renovations which Bishop Casey had carried out on Killarney Cathedral are discussed, as are the work undertaken by Seán and others to make Killarney “look good,” the Arts Committee and the mission movement. Track 3: A discussion follows on the reasons why Town Councils are essential to urban areas, and on the financial remuneration allowed to councillors. St Finian’s Hospital is also discussed as is the slow adaptation of the rather institutionalised community there to everyday life in the wider world.
